Whitstable Mums UnLtd
This group is run by Catherine Chapman from Bodyworks Pilates & Aesthetics
We meet each month at Riverside Church, Whitstable.
This business networking event is great for people in the Whitstable area with a business or looking to start one. Our meetings are friendly and relaxed and you will find lots of help and support, plenty of new contacts and some great guest speakers.
Our event has open networking time from 9.30am -10am ( so don’t worry if you can’t get there before 10am) and then we start at 10am with introductions and the chance to share what help you need and what your business is all about. After a short break for more refreshments we will hear from our guest speaker or we will deliver a mini workshop.
This month our speaker is Lisa Wolfe from Inspired To Change, but a lot of her friends, colleagues and clients call her The Specialist …. Why? She is a decorated veteran, having served 14 years in the RAF until she retired in 2003. She worked in the MH field for approx 17 years. Lisa works with sufferers of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, a term used to describe a combination of debilitating symptoms experienced by someone who has suffered significant distress, trauma or adversity, and helps them get their life back on track.
Her talk is The Science of Happiness – is happiness a science or a feeling?
Lisa will explain how your brain can make you happy, and change how you feel, think and behave in a micro second. When we understand this, we can overcome trauma, stress, anxiety and boost our confidence to make long-lasting and positive changes in our lives.
Remember to bring along your business cards and any literature to share with the group, and anything you might want to display.
You must book in advance. Should you need to cancel, even on the actual morning, we will carry your booking over to a future meeting – just let us know if you can’t make it. There are no membership fees. Regular attendees can gain access to a free membership after attending for 8 meetings in a year.
Although this Whistable business networking group is aimed at Mums in business we welcome anyone along, so just book and attend – there is no membership, professional lock out or strict rules which are often associated with business networking.
