Northampton Mums UnLtd Business Networking
This group is run by Debbie Jilbert from The Playbag Company
This event is held monthly at
The Village Hall, 78A The High Street, Ecton, Northamptonshire, NN6 0QB
This business networking event is great for people in the Northampton area with a business or looking to start one. Our meetings are friendly and relaxed and you will find lots of help and support, plenty of new contacts and some great guest speakers.
Our event has open networking time from 9.30am -10am ( so don’t worry if you can’t get there before 10am) and then we start at 10am with introductions and the chance to share what help you need and what your business is all about. After a short break for more refreshement we will hear from our guest speaker or we will deliver a mini workshop.
Our speaker for April is Rebecca Parfitt Taylor and our Topic is “My dog ate my tax return…and all of the reminders.”
“Let’s face it – unless you’re an accountant, accountancy isn’t fun. Particularly if you’re trying to do it yourself. I’ll be giving an overview on dealing with HMRC (and some of the excuses people have used) and what expenses you can and cannot claim.”
“I’ve been a qualified accountant since 2005, with plenty of experience of working within businesses. I support small business owners with all their accountancy needs, including year-end accounts and management reports. My clients are really important to me. I’m approachable, pride myself in explaining things in a non-technical way and I believe there’s no such thing as a silly question. “
Remember to bring along your business cards and any literature to share with the group, and anything you might want to display.
You must book in advance. Should you need to cancel, even on the actual morning, we will carry your booking over to a future meeting – just let us know if you can’t make it. There are no membership fees. Regular attendees can gain access to a free meeting for the following year, a 5-10 minute speaker slot, listing on our Business Directory and a SM post on our Facebook and twitter pages after attending for 8 meetings in a year (Jan-Dec).
Although this Northampton business networking group is aimed at Mums in business we welcome anyone along, so just book and attend – there is no membership, professional lock out or strict rules which are often associated with business networking.
